Position Overview: We are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager or Head of finance who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the financial aspects of the manufacturing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for manufacturing and supply chain operations. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimisation and process improvement. Cost Management: Monitor and control manufacturing and supply chain costs. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation, tracking, and optimisation. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory turnover. Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track and measure the financial performance of manufacturing and supply chain operations. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with manufacturing and supply chain activities. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and production, to align financial strategies with business objectives. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of manufacturing and supply chain strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on manufacturing and supply chain finance. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
